Sylvie Jane Lewis is a poet and fiction writer, and has a master’s in English from Cambridge. Her work has placed in literary competitions (winner of the 2023 Cambridge University Poetry Prize, runner-up of the 2023 Sykes Prize) and appeared in various publications. Recently, her work featured in the international anthology Smashed Peaches (2023), a collection of work by women and nonbinary writers on surviving violence. Currently she is working on a first poetry collection and a first novel, both of which have fairy tales as a core source of inspiration. Instagram: @sylviejanelewis.


Retired children’s librarian Alan Bern has published three books of poetry and has a hybrid fictionalized memoir, IN THE PACE OF THE PATH, published by UnCollected Press. Recent awards include: Winner, Saw Palm Poetry Contest (2022); Honorable Mention, Littoral Press Poetry Prize (2021). Recent and upcoming writing and photo work include: Marin Poetry Center Anthology, EcoTheo Review, ThanatosThe Hyacinth Review, DarkWinter, and Mercurius.
