Soundscape Ecology

When I hold myself silent, the soundscape opens to me.
I clean my ears of human-made detritus.
The biophony uncurls itself, a Fibonacci shell of sound
matching my cochlea, as if a reflection of it.

I clean my ears of human-made detritus.
Cross legged, I sink into the earth and outside time that
matches my cochlea, as if a reflection of it
might awaken something I can barely touch in dreams.

Cross legged, I sink into the earth and outside time.
The river rushes to meet the wind; untuned geophonics
might awaken something I can barely touch in dreams.
This place is orchestral, a laced arrangement of the organic.

The river rushes to meet the wind, untuned geophonic
soundmakers move through stillness with audible intent.
This place is orchestral, a laced arrangement of the organic.
With no conductor, time and rhythm guide themselves.

Soundmakers move through stillness with audible intent
and the biophony uncurls itself, a Fibonacci shell of sound.
With no conductor, time and rhythm guide themselves
so when I hold myself silent, the soundscape opens to me.
