Three love poems by M.S. Evans

Hell and Heaven
Arun Kapur

Cut Whole

When offering your heart
use a sharp knife.

Sanitize in
sea brine.

Believe

it can beat in harmony.

Acknowledge the moon,
often.

Follow spring’s lead.

Sea Mimicry

My hair bloomed
burgundy,
kinked, whorled,
mimicked

wild seaweed, driftwood

to lure him.

Love’s Shore

Bone shell skin,
sand crease eyes; my
forever shore.
