Venus in Retrograde


Sabrina Guo is the youngest global winner of the 2021 Poems to Solve the Climate Crisis Challenge. She spoke out against climate injustice and performed her poetry in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26). She received the Civic Expression Award and eight national medals from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She is a winner of the Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, the Barbara Mandigo Kelly Peace Poetry Awards, and the Poetry Society of Virginia’s Jenkins Prize. Her work has been published in the Best Teen WritingRaleigh ReviewWest Trestle Review, CounterclockPolyphony Lit, among others. She is the founder of Girl Pride International and Long Island Laboring Against COVID-19.


Zaynab Bobi, Frontier I, is a Nigerian poet, digital artist, and photographer from Bobi. She is a member of Hilltop Creative Art Abuja branch, Poetry Club Udus, Frontier Collective, and a Medical Laboratory Science student of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.
