Viva La Vanquish

The world is rehearsing for
Viva La Vanquish.

Elegantly draped in ghost’s silhouettes,
anorexic apparitions

on the stage of time
sing less is no longer more,

with all breaths featured
in the choir of silence.

On the Artic circle creative aesthetics
have been declared extinct.

All conclusions have been drawn.
The canvas of earth erased.

Some think god is directing
from the sky, as clouds

choreograph suspicious prayers
toxic with blame and lies.

In the final scene everyone blinks
like a blizzard freezing the sun,

the time it takes to do
something different

with no time left at all.
